Publix Supermarkets is issuing a voluntary recall for 10 ounce plastic bags of Publix Hearts of Romaine (Chopped Hearts of Romaine) due to the fact that they may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes. Ready Pac is the private supplier of the private label product for the company.

Peanut Butter

On September 26, 2012 - Justins announced a voluntary recall of certain lots of its Classic Peanut Butter 16oz jars. This voluntary recall is in response to Sunland Inc. voluntarily recalling nut butter products because peanuts used in the production have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.

The products were distributed nationally to numerous supermarket chains and were available for purchase on the internet from 7/14/12 to 9/26/12.

Frosted Mini Wheats

There is a voluntary recall of select packages of Frosted Mini-Wheats Bite Size Original and Mini-Wheats Unfrosted Bite Size due to the possible presence of fragments of flexible metal mesh from a faulty manufacturing part.
